About Me
Born in England, raised in New York, and now going to school in the South, you can say that throughout my life, I have had my fair share of cultural experiences. Living in these diverse settings, I have been blessed to have been surrounded by a broad spectrum of lifestyles, activities, cuisines, and personalities, all of which I like to believe have attributed to my growth as an individual.
After spending my freshmen year of college at Florida State University, I discovered that the "big school life" I had always dreamed of, was not the life for me. So in August 2015, just two weeks before move-in day, I sent my deposit in to Furman University, and never looked back. Furman truly is a unique university. Since coming to Greenville, South Carolina, I have been presented with a phenomenal education, broadening opportunities, and outstanding individuals whom I now consider to be some of my closest friends. In not even a year, this tight-knit community has become my home-away-from-home, and I am so grateful to be a member of its student body. I could not imagine attending any school other than Furman.
If I had to describe myself in one word, it would be "driven." When I put my mind to something, I aspire to give 100%. However I recognize when and where to put my determined personality away, and in these situations, my goofy (my friends might say “weird”) side tends to come out. When I am not in class, working in Downtown Greenville, or laughing uncontrollably with my friends, you can find me jogging Furman’s campus, reading restaurant menus online, watching Scandal, or making plans to explore new and exciting places.
I am very curious to see what this chapter in my life will bring and where it will lead me. I am embarking on a journey, one in which I hope to accomplish my personal and professional goals while experiencing everything this unique world has to offer.
